I love Paul Frank things. This is my Longshot the pony handbag. It took me months to track down and I finally bought it on Ebay from Australia. I cannot comment on how much it cost, but suffice to say, it was more than a grown woman should be spending on a bag with a pony on it. I have had it for a while now, but just occasionally gets an outing. It's at work today.

Posh wine gums

I got a packet of wine gums from Marks and Spencers and instead of port and hock etc, they seem to say chardonnay on them instead.

I should have been filling my time filling these boxes, but these are what got me broken fingers in the first place - one landed on me from the loft.

Midsomer Madness

When J Kyle is not on, J Nettles is. Midsomer Murders is so delightfully old-fashioned compared to CSI and the like. In Midsomer, surely the most dangerous village on the planet, there being at least 2 murders a week in a population of about 70, you can still find yourself being killed by a flaming arrow shot from a bow at Summer Solstice by a Norwegian man with a beard. In that particularly memorable episode, the villain was captured by him eating a hotdog at a bonfire. I shit ye not.

And that's another thing - they don't edit out the swearing from when it was originally shown post-watershed, so you can hear Sergeant Troy blithely calling people bastards and cursing "shit!" as he stumbles around the countryside after Bergerac - classic.

Cheese Diet

Pretty much all I was able to feed myself on during the day was cheese sandwiches as it was all I had the dexterity/energy to make - woe is me!

J Kyle

Oh, Jeremy. We've spent so much time together recently, but you're still a cock. I've not been able to do much except watch TV. He is on some channel or other all the time it seems.

The eagle eyed amongst you will notice I am updating this backdatedly - this is because I broke my finger and have been immobile for a while. Subsequently, I couldn't take any photos. So I will be instead posting pictures of what my days were filled with in the time I was unable to photograph things!

They gave us a small bonus (unexpected) and took us out for dinner ... the evening was a farce due to too much champagne and an incident with 2 of the emergency services before we even left the office.
