Maple Leaf
A mini Japanese maple we have in our garden. We rescued it from Tesco last year and it died off, but has surprised us by coming back this year.

Paper Pants
Oh, the humiliation. I had a massagey exfoliation thing and wore these for a whole hour. It was a special occasion - Catherine's hen day at the Radisson hotel in Glasgow. Well worth it!

Still Game?
As I strolled into the bedroom this Tuesday evening to get changed, I was met with the sight of a billion camera men and buses etc - I think it was Still Game they were filming.

My brother's getting married and I rashly agreed to make the invites. Slow going, but will be FINISHED this week or I will eat my hat.

Cacti
Pin cushions! I got these at the fair at the Cluny on Sunday from the lovely girl that is not the lovely girl from the Black Button, but the lovely girl from Evil Twin. I think they're twins. They're lovely and so are the cushions!

An MF Trip To Newcastle
Yesterday was the Cluny fair in Newcastle, just outside the city centre. Jo and I took a trip down on the train for the day and had a great time - this was the first time we'd been that wasn't below freezing, temperature wise. It was quite the opposite, so we had a wander down by the canal before we had to get the train home, in the tropical heat. It was so pretty.

Aah! Bees!
Aaaah! Bees! It's ok, they're behind glass.
Lee and I went for a long walk on Saturday around the west end and called into the Kibble Palace for a look at the orchid show.
There was a display by Glasgow Bee Lovers or some such - the man was most informative and showed us the queen bee. She was disappointingly small and had no crown on.

Grafitti
An amazing mural on a fence surrounding a building site - it's an entire block long! Quite spectacular. I could only take one photo as some students got in my way.

Some joker at work has just left 100, yes, that is one hundred, Lindt bunnies on my desk - the big ones. I can hear them jingling away. Send help!
