I was very busy making brooches for the next miso funky market - it's on Feb 10th and you can see the details at www.misofunky.com/febmarket.htm

Condemned!
The skanky flats next to ours have been due to be knocked down for ages, but it looks like work will begin soon.
This looks very scary!

Condiments
Jo and I had a naughty last evening together before she jetted off to Barhelona. We had chips at Jack McPhee's and it was fabulous!

Lee, Enemy of the Mould
We have had a problem with mould on our bedroom wall. Not any more! We donned the green gloves and skooshed the mould stuff on the walls this weekend, so hopefully it will not return and I will stop coughing.

Borscht and croquette
Mmm! What a tasty meal it was. And the sum total of £23.50 for 4! Mucho cheapness. Well worth a visit!

Andrew translated some words in preparation for our trip to the Polish place on Friday. Click the photo to see the meanings.

Jo's London Eye
We are all thinking of things to do on our trip to London. Jo is studying hard in the manner of her old uni lecturer - with one bulging eye.

Tulips
I went to the doctors about my persistent cough.
She advised me to buy some flowers to look at instead of taking cough medicine.
Here they are!

Citizen McChesney Party
Me? Tequila? With my reputation? Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.
This was early hours of Saturday morning at Rebecca's party.

Christmas? Already?
But it's just been! Let's hope this is just an oversight from last year rather than pushing for this year!

Snooooow!
Snow last nite from my bedroom window. I LOVE snow, me.
I texted practically everyone to tell them of the great news, such was my excitement.

Screen Clean Baboon
This is my computer screen cleaner, which I rescued from my old desk at lunch time.
He is supposedly a baboon but looks a bit more like a highland cow with his face painted.
Jo gave him to me many moons ago.
And his arse.
Painted.

Broken Needle
I have no idea how this happened.
It was in my bag and then I went to get it back out and it was broken. A clean snap. I have tried to mend it with tape, but it did not work. I managed to knit with the broken stump long enough to finish my piece, but sadly it really is unusable.

Yay! Calendar!
mar-c kindly crafted me a new calendar to go over my old one from last year. I have something to count the days down til my release now!
I got the original on my first trip to Bangkok in the amazing Zen department store which has the finest selection of Hello Kitty things one could ever hope for.
Sadly on my last visit there, the shop was closed for renovations and I couldn't find them anywhere else.

Is This For Roll?
Undoubtedly the sorriest excuse for a roll I've seen in a long time.
The Kelvin Cafe in the West of Scotland Science Park is undoubtedly the worst cafe in Glasgow. And the owner, Gillian is the most sour-faced bitch I've ever had the misfortune not to spit on :)
I was running late today and didn't have time to bring lunch to work, so had to make my first visit to the cafe for many a moon. This is what I came back with.
I will never forget lunch again.

Coughtastic
My cough just won't go away. I have bought this bumper bottle of Covonia. I am tempted to drink it all at once and see if that works.

These buttons arrived from New Jersey on my desk today as part of a swap parcel from Tracy there. They will come in very handy for Reject eyes!

Kopek Kreta
This is a Polish cake - in English - molehill cake because ... it looks like a molehill.
It's chocolate sponge filled with cream and a layer of banana in the bottom - it's looovely!
It was handmade by my almost sister in law Aleks and consumed by us all on new year's day after my homemade steak pie. yum!
